> Farewell to Things 1 and 2

OK, here goes nothing. It's finally here, blog endage!

My final week was the hardest week I had at WDW. Saying goodbye to everyone, and almost as importantly, everything, was harder than I thought it would be. However, it was an incredible week, nonetheless.

Well, firstly, the week before my last week was Shanan and Shayna's last. I think it was the Wednesday of that week (when I was on PAC duty at MK) that they came to see mee at work. We took pics, I gave them Mickey stickers etc. etc. Just before Wishes, I had the brainwave to try and get them up on top of MO-6 to watch Wishes from there, but unfortunately, I wasn't allowed in the end. Nevertheless, they got back to their fab spot for Wishes anyway. After work, I went downstairs to my locker (as y'do) and went to call them, cos they said they wanted to see me when I had finished. So, they said that they were waiting for me at the hub. Now, geographically, the hub isn't all that far from the men's locker rooms at MK. However, because of show quality, I had to walk aaaaaaaaall the way back down the tunnels to Main Street to come onstage to walk BACK up to the hub. Yeesh, I mean, I love the Disney show, but it doesn't half take effort!

So, anyhoo, got to the hub, they were sitting on the back side of the Partner's statue just watching the castle waiting for me. So, I signed Shanan's poster thingy (affirming for once and for all that it is, indeed, MY castle), she gave me a pressie, and there were lots of teary hugs. And when I say teary, I mean, I bawled like a little girl. But, being on stage, I really couldn't do all that much crying. The show, don't ya know. So, I sent my S Clubbers off to experience the joy of our kingdom and went backstage to get home. I went backstage by MO-7, and as soon as I had cleared the sight line, the waterworks really started to flow. But, I didn't want anyone to see me, so I straightened myself up, and walked to the men's locker rooms. There, I found an empty cubicle in the loo, turned the waters on again, and opened Shanan's pressie. It was... well, judge for yourself. It's called "You're my Mouseketeer".

Arg. Damn you Shanan! It was at least 15 minutes before I could even contemplate getting out of there and going home.

So, anyhoo, that was a heartbreaking moment. I miss my Thing 1 and my Thing 2 more than they can possibly imagine... So ShaNAN and Cheyenne, I love you loads and I can't wait to see you again!
